Not one battery type is perfect for everyone..There are a ton of lifepo4 batteries for under $500 and some under $400 right where SOK batteries($399) started before Will's review and tear down..
I have spent a fair amount of time at -25F in an RV working..Nothing came close to keeping them comfy except wood heat no matter what we did..Liveable but certainly not for the cold blooded and why we just winterized and lived off of bottled water and porta-potti's..LOL
My 120ah Lifepo4 is located inside my truck camper so weather is not a concern for me when in use and the quick charging and weight were the determining factors for me taking the plunge to Lifepo4 with a cost similar to a quality lead acid but with more usable amp hours per battery..
