So, you're really down to the microwave. Take it out of the camper and plug it into a home outlet. Try another high wattage device and see how it runs from the micro outlet in the camper, better yet another microwave if possible.
It could be that your microwave is just being fussy about the power its getting from the inverter. But if another high draw device doesn't run well on the same power, that's a crude sign you have dirty power. A hair dryer and space heater will run on dirty power though, so this is a real crude test! But I think it is narrowing down.

...you can watch the voltage, amps and watts in real time at the outlet. Compare it to you home outlets when you run the micro thru it.
