#10 wire on two feet for 12 volts @ 150 amps gives a voltage drop of 5.1% assuming the wire stays at 20 C (68 F). So 12 volts becomes 11.388
I'd never do that to wire. 1/0 would be my choice which brings the line loss to 0.5%
