SKip the sat connection... Instead look for existing holes. IN a Motor home there are holes likely plugged with expanding foam. in the firewall.
On both a motor home and trailer there are holes where wires and plumbing go in and out.. these will be along the sides. (one is near the water pump) Just exit via that hole and get into the electrical run compartment to compartment and finally out and up the ladder.
