Wifi booster.

I was asking for a specific name of the Verizon Unlimited Plan.

There's lots of plans out there that say they are "unlimited", be we all know they are not true unlimited plans.

In fact, I don't know of any unlimited plan that's offered these days that are truly unlimited in every way.

If there is one... please let us hear about it.

Here's a link to the current Verizon "unlimited" plans ... but boy or boy ... read carefully those exclusions and tricky conditions. They just plain aren't going to allow you to watch 1080P streaming channels day after day ... at any price one might be willing to pay:

BTW and FWIW, we're not RV'ers who curl up in the rig 24/7 - whether hookup, or dry, or boondock, camping. When we're not hiking, fishing, rockhounding, or sitting around the propane firepit - we'd sure enjoy watching high quality streaming entertainment and news - in the evenings, or when it's snowing, or when it's raining, or when the wind is howling ... but that takes a lot of data at 4-5 Mbps uninterrupted speeds in order to do that ... plus ofttimes boosted cellular signals, to boot.

Verizon has a relatively new separate prepaid plan for Verizon Jetpacks only. I found out about it by watching the YouTube vloggers. They are switching to it for unlimited data that is not throttled when you hit a predesignated limit because there is no data cap. However, there is network management that gives priority to regular Verizon customers when the network is busy which can slow your speed. YouTuber Hobotech explains the plan.

If you have a jetpack on a current Verizon phone plan, you can change it over to a prepaid data plan with the same phone number already assigned to it or if you don't have a jetpack, you can buy one from Verizon and have it put on a separate prepaid account. The prepaid plan is $70 per month.

Hahahaha! Riiiiight! No doubt they will get right on that 5G stuff. Give us Internet anywhere & everywhere.

This post made from a 6Mb/s DSL line in an area with no cell service. Not the boondocks either, I am 45 minutes from downtown of the largest city in the state. And by 'no cell service' I mean regardless of carrier, it is an 8-mile drive to get the first service bar.

5G is an empty promise for the foreseeable future.

How do I get that service? I have home based Cox cable and found out the hard way (kids and streaming) that after 1 TB of data they start to charge an additional $10 for 50 additional GB.
