Will 1K inverter work microwave?

Misery was me, a Panasonic inverter microwave oven, and a Trace 4024 MSW. You all know my battery bank so I need not go there.
A hum, then a buzz, then a flash. Smoke. Evil smell. The 15-amp wall breaker tripped.
I am going to take a guess and say that combination would take 8-10 minutes to heat a cup of coffee from 60F to 175F. My Samsung 800 watt takes 5 minutes using shore power. Two group 31 AGM batteries, a 1,500 watt pure sine wave inverter and 1,100 watt microwave is more in line with what I expect a microwave to do for a living. My commercial 1,700 watt LG connected to shore power will boil that cup of coffee in 12 seconds flat.
