MEXICOWANDERER

Even with pure sine wave, 5 minutes to heat a cup of coffee, nine minutes to heat a pair. That inverter is going to draw a hundred amperes, 50 per battery. Suck on a 12.6 volt battery by 50 amps and it's going to drop into the high elevens. Think you're going to get full wattage at that input value? My little inverters need a FULL five minutes @ 117 Volts to heat an 8 oz cup of coffee. The 117 volts is shore power. When I tried it with a Kenmore 800 watt, a Trace 812, and unlimited battery power it took ELEVEN MINUTES to heat coffee to 175F from 65F. A single cup of coffee. Small battery bank + small inverter is not a microwave's best friend. 8 Oz. of 20C water and a stopwatch is an effective BS detector.
