Will a bigger inverter avoid the dreaded alarm?

uuummmmm - don't want to state the obvious but if the Alarm Shreiking is annoying you (and that's your only issue) - open up the case and cut the or disconnect the buzzer !!!!!.

I used some foam and taped over the buzzer - now it's barely audible.
