Not really. The propane burner produces a lot more BTU's than the Cal Rod does on 110 volts. Similar, but not the same in reality.
Got to agree, propane is the most efficient burner heat source for the fridge. Dont bother with trying to increase your 110 v ac power and certainly dont bother with the 12 volt side.
The problem is in the gas section of your fridge !!!
