Winnie 1710 add ez lube to axle
hello everyone. a co worker just bought a Winnie drop 1710 and was wondering about adding the ez lube hubs. does anyone know what Axel it has and what size hubs it needs?

If there's a zerk under the rubber cover it's most likely an EZ Lube. I don't know of any other axles that put a zerk under a rubber cover.
You could get the part number of the axle by crawling under the trailer and then contacting Dexter. They will give you all the specs of the axle.
The only other way I know to tell is to disassemble the axle and see if there's a hole back by the rear seal.
If it's the EZ Lube, don't be over exuberant with greasing the hubs, or grease them too frequently.
