Winterizing Gray Hawk class c

I pumped rv antifreeze through system after changing water heater to bypass until each outlet showed nice and pink -
Now do I leave water line drains (the four drains located near the sewage line) open or closed?

  • ummm, I am sure you forgot to mention that you did the black tank flush, outside shower if equipped, and dity water inlet.

On those four drains you referenced, if you never loosen them to see what comes out, how do you know you got ample pink stuff in there?
  • You didn't mention it, but drained the water heater after bypassing it, right?
  • Agree. If they drain the fresh water system, leave them closed or you'll drain the pink stuff out. If they drain the waste tanks, leave them closed too, unless you have water in them. You put some af in your p traps, right?
  • Not sure what the 4 drains are. If they are low point drains, I leave mine closed and leave the water lines full of antifreeze.
