Tiffin has such a system for over 3 years now. You COULD program the touchpad in the Bedroom to operate various RV 12 volt lighting. The system is called SPYDER. There are only 4 wires from each touchpad regardless of the number of switches on that touchpad. The system uses 60 channels. So, you can have 60 appliances/lights on the system. The individual button on the touchpads sends a signal for its channel to a central control and that control receives that signal and opens or closes the switch for that appliance which then activates that wire to the appliance. NOT cost feasable to update your RV with this system, but a nice feature. Other Hi line RV's also have variables of this system, maybe not the same brand. Doug
