Mostly I don't care for the idea of remotes for anything other than the TV. But the idea of keypads at various locations that remotely control lights and other things is kind of a cool idea. You'd only need to run the wiring from the control panel to the lights. So you could have keypads located throughout the RV that would control many different processes, without having to run wiring to all the switches.
You could have power run from the control station to the water pump, only one set of wires. But you could have keypads located in the bathroom, kitchen, and outside to turn on/off the pump, again only the two power wires run to each keypad. I like the idea.
