Wiring 2 6 volt batteries

I have several wires to hookup and do not know where to start
I do know that the position of one is connected to the negative of another and I have identified all the positive and all wiresults that are grounded.
Next step is ??

    It may help to realize that a 12V battery is internally six cells in series. A 6V battery is three cells in series. You're really just installing a 12V battery that happens to be physically packaged in two halves (for more convenient handling and installation); hence they get connected in series, as Roy's diagram shows.

    Th end result here using two 6VDC 220AH batteries is you will end up with 12VDC at 220AH capacity...

    You have created one pretty large 12VDC battery now...

    All pos on the pos of one 6v batt. All neg on neg of OTHER 6v batt. Then connect the two remaining posts together.
