Ok. I just tried hooking it up as suggested. Yellow to my 12v positive supply amd black to ground. Nothing happens. Seems like the only way it will run is with the red from the fan to red or positive from the frig and black to ground. Then seems to only run at low speed. Is it possible the yellow wire on the fan is supossed to provide some kind of feed back to a speed control built into the fan?
