Wrong, the water is mixed and held by the additives that are present in todays fuel that breaks down and absorbs water. Old fuel especially is holding water more than new fuel. The side and top of tanks sweet the water and it is washed down when movement of fuel occurs when vehicles are driven. That is the whole point of this post, as the vehicle sitting will start with the same amount of water in the tank, until movement occurs creating a non restart due to the bottom, side, and top being added to the water bound fuel making it unburnable by a spark to a cold cylinder. I'm glad I fueled your interest.
