Would Mercury Quicksilver grease work in my wheel bearings?

IT's what is currently in my grease gun and we know what a mess it is to change a non-empty cartridge. I don't know my axle brand. I have electric brakes. I assume about any type would be suitable for...

Hmmmmm, wasn't planning on spending again for another gun, but it probably is the best bet. Then again, It's also tough to remember what's in each gun. Aside from writing it down somewhere, does anyone have a suggestion?
