Would Mercury Quicksilver grease work in my wheel bearings?

IT's what is currently in my grease gun and we know what a mess it is to change a non-empty cartridge. I don't know my axle brand. I have electric brakes. I assume about any type would be suitable for a short time frame if you then pushed it on out with the proper grease, but is the grease I'm considering appropriate for the long term? I have zerk fittings, not re-doing the bearings.

x2, stop by Horror Fright and pick up another grease squirter or two, then you're not trying to swap one grease for another through a single gun
  • What does the manufacturer recommend? If you can't determine the manufacturer, what do most recommend? This site doesn't seem to recommend use in bearings - https://p.widencdn.net/ad2kkn
