Sorry if I'm not giving enough info. I'm not technically minded and don't know squat in the area of solar/batteries/inverters. etc. One reason I ask here amongst my betters. But here's what I have from the invoices.
150W Zamp Solar Panel
2 6V AGM RV Batteries
1000Watt Freedom XI SE
Remote Prowatt SW (Think that would be the control/display panel.)
Wire (Doesn't say gauge or length)
1/2 Hub Romex Cond (No idea)
15A Circuit Breaker
Split Loom 1/2"
The rest is just battery boxes, straps and the like.
The solar is mounted flat, roughly in the center of the roof. There is nothing on the roof shading it or anything else when it's been parked at site or in front of our house.
The batteries are mounted in front behind the propane tanks.
The inverter is mounted in the storage compartment underneath the foot of the bed which is at the front of the trailer.
When dry camping fridge and water heater are both turned to gas.
The only thing I run is a couple of lights and the TV, a new Sanyo flat screen, 32" I think.
The batteries appear to be holding a charge when in storage. Never had a problem with the electric jack, stabilizers or slide out.
If connected to shore power battery display shows 12.9 when charged.
Currently showing 11.7 on the display after two full days in Texas sun and nothing running. Haven't checked the batteries with a volt meter yet. I do own one and know how to use it...more or less.
The only things being run on the inverter are the TV and one outlet with at most a phone charger plugged in. A/C and microwave are never used, of course.
The original inverter that fried everything was showing fault code E04.
Replacement inverter shows either E10 when connected to shore power for more than several minutes. If I then unplug it will got to Flt or Full until I plug back in.
E05 comes on shortly before the alarm indicating inverter will stop inverting. Never ran it long enough after that to find out when it would actually shut down.
Other than setting the battery to AGM I don't know what the other settings should be. Other than the battery they are currently in the default mode.
I imagine I could check the current from the solar panel if I knew which wires come into the batteries.
That's about all I can tell you. Do appreciate the efforts to help so far.
