I had shrunk the photos to comply with the forum, then realized a link to the pics wouldn't require that. Here is a link to the folder with the pics in their original size. I took some extra ones as best I could but because of the was it's mounted I couldn't really get a shot of the end the Freedom in the corner.

Might be a statement of the obvious but the large red and black cables run to the battery bank. The wire wrapped in the black plastic tubing also runs to the battery bank. I can't locate anything connecting the solar panel to anything, which doesn't necessarily mean it's not there. I just don't know where it should be.
I also attempted to measure the voltage at the Xantrex. I couldn't get to where the black negative wire connects and assuming I just needed a ground used the small bare copper wire. The reading fluctuated between 11.8 and 12. The panel read 11.7, as usual but when the sun came out quite bright it was reading 12. I'm not sure anymore if there is actually a correlation. Seems like it should always be reading 12 or better as it's connected to shore power/house current which I understand should take precedence, or at least combine, with the solar.
I looked at the original invoice from the installation and I don't see being billed for a solar controller. Is it possible hat the Freedom HFS serves that purpose? If not, where should I find the solar controller or is it possible that the dealer really really didn't know what they were doing and never installed a critical component.
