Grey wire next to the black tubing may well go to the control panel. The tubing contains another set of smaller wire going to the batteries.
Impossible to see the neg side terminal stuck in the bottom of the blind side which makes it really hard to know where the probe is going. That's why I but the ground probe on that small bare copper wire thinking it might be a ground.
Reading bounced around a bit but never got much above 12 volts.
It's warming up tomorrow so I'll check the voltage at the batteries again.
Still would like an answer about the solar controller.
