Is this the XG SF2000 you're considering? This lists the specs.
Even if the oil is clean, after you buy it, change the oil. Then you know when it was changed and what type oil is in the engine.
Take a multimeter when you look at it. Make sure it's producing electricity in the 120 volt range.
If it looks and works as it should, I would buy it if, it will serve your needs. Naturally, try to get the price lowered. ;)
