Yamaha EF2400 no power output

Question

My Yamaha EF2400is isn't putting out any power. It starts and runs fine, but the AC light is off, where it is normally lite green when generator is on. I notice the AC light also blinking at times. Does anyone know what is wrong with it and what I need to look for?

I bought the generator new about 4 years ago and it only has about 20 hours on it. This past weekend I was using it to run the Air Conditioning and it did for abut 10 minutes, then this.

Are there any loads on the generator when you start it? Is the overload light on (red)? If the overload activates you have to shut the generator down to reset it.

I'd start the generator with no loads (nothing plugged in) and then plug in a light or another low load device to test whether the generator has any output.

I have the same generator and if you overload the generator the breaker on the generator trips. The only way I have found to reset it, is to turn off the generator and pull the yellow breaker back out. Then restart the generator.
