Yamaha EF2400is Surging Idle

My vintage 2007 EF has the dreaded surging idle. I pulled it apart and cleaned the idle jet, the main jet and the third pointy screw in the carburetor, and the dang thing still surges.

Even though I am in DFW, I can't locate a Yamaha service center anywhere near where I live.

So, I guess I'll sell it "as-is" and look for another unit, but not a Yamaha due to the lack of service.

Maybe a Honda, but I am thinking of the Champion or one of the lesser inverter generator brands.

Any suggestions? Only requirement is to run a 13.5k BTU unit in the Texas heat.

    Thank you for that. I ready saw that and did all those procedures. Did not help the problem.

    OP back here again. I FIXED IT!!!!!

    Went to Babbits and ordered the carburetor idle jet. Put the new jet in, an the dadgum thing is running like new :D
