Well bt,
I kinda hate to say this, but that is standard symptom of a failing cooling unit. You might try standing it on its head for a day then upright for another and then fire it up and see what it does, but with those symptoms, the odds are not good.
They cannot be repaired or recharged, but the cooling unit can be rebuilt and then replaced. Lots of the places that do that do an exchange for about half of new.
