Dometic model RML8555 Why would the freezer work very well and the cooler section fail to keep up and actually rise by 4 or 5 degrees if the door is opened even once. Anyone ?

How are you measuring the temperature? Keep in mind, most thermometers are measuring the air temp, and when you open the door, all of the cold air leaves. The temp should be measured using a thermometer in a glass of water, for some thermal mass.
