Dometic model RML8555 Why would the freezer work very well and the cooler section fail to keep up and actually rise by 4 or 5 degrees if the door is opened even once. Anyone ?

Chris -- good point on the method of measuring. I've been using a wireless thermometer. I'm in the middle of a test cycle and the temp in the cooler is staying around 35 to 37 degrees even as the outside temp has climbed to 87 degrees. The flame has been cycling on/off but has been mostly on as the outside temp increased.
