Sure, 2K inverter gensets are a great option for many but since any model in this category regardless of brand is only capable of generating less than half the 30 amp requirement stated by the OP they're not really relevant to this discussion. If the OP truly wants a genset capable of a full 30 amps continuous a 4500 watt model like the Yamaha EF4500ise would be about the minimum size he should be considering. Obviously, under full load a 4500 watt model would be running much quicker (and as a result louder) than would a 7000 watt model under the same load ... if "quiet competence" is the game it would be hard to beat a Honda EU7000iS.
