Youtube, Solar on my Sunseeker Class C (updated)

As a first timer, when I set out to install solar into my small Class C, I spent hours and hours trying to find out little details about the job. What to use, where to buy, etc. I know there are many answers to each of the questions. But here is what I did.

  • It is only one pair of wires, but they are both black. One has printing on it, so that is how I could tell them apart. I'm sure they had opposing MC4 connectors to make them foolproof, until I cut off the ends. I would have bought red and black if I had found them.

I wondered about those cheap breakers too.
  • Nice video.

It looks like you ran two sets of wires down from the roof, curious why you didn't just combine them all and run 1 set of wires?

I guess maybe the quality varies but I purchased some of those circuit breakers on ebay as well but the ones I received IMO were junk and ended up throwing them away. I instead went with blue sea circuit breakers.
  • Bumping the up, I revised and replaced the video. The link is in first post.

And, thanks BFL! What seems like a simple project is not simple the first time. Most of what I did, I learned here on this forum.
  • That was a lot of work! Nice job. So glad I have more room to get at things in the 5er. :(
