Zamp "solar ready"

I have a zamp solar ready port on my motor home, not being familiar with solar setups, I would like to know exactly what is needed to connect a 100 watt panel to my motorhome. I'm choosing 100 watt due to portability and the limited boondocking that I do.
  • The portable solar panel must have its own controller. Check polarity if the solar panel is a different brand from Zamp.
  • "I'm choosing 100 watt due to portability..." Why? Is that adequate?

Set it up each morning, watch for theft, move it around, take down for lunch in town, set up upon return, watch for theft, move it around, take down at sunset. Tomorrow, repeat. Much easier to mount the panels on the roof after an energy survey determining battery size, number of panels needed etc.
