The first time I removed ZEP from the front cap using ZEP stripper, it exhausted me for 4 hours. I wet it down, sprayed, rinsed and scrubbed. I built up a few muscles.
Second time I did it differently. Sprayed stripper on the DRY surface, let sit a minute then wipe with a damp rag. Let it dry. Repeated about three time and it was clean. Found if I spray it on and let sit and then spray it on again, the ZEP runs down the side.
Verified that another time. Sprayed then rinsed with a hose and dried the surface before repeating. Very little effort compared to the first time.
ZEP does yellow a bit after a year or 2, but it makes the TC look much better.
I like the TC to look nice so I'll keep using it, it's much cheaper than a new camper.
