450/500, 4500/5500 with Standard Pick-up beds Installed

Hello all, been researching new 1-1/4 and 1-1/2 ton chassis cab 4x4 trucks with standard pick-up beds installed. Several companies do this, but looking for personal opinions on whether you’d do it again or just bite the bullet and go for a better upfitter set-up. Searching online there are a few discussions of standard beds cracking under load and general fitment issues depending on the installer. Manning upfitters is commonly referenced as one of the least exspensive go-to operations since they are currently working as factory approved installers through Ford and Ram, and their bed install can be added to a factory order where all of the logistics are taken care of and the truck is delivered to your dealer complete.
