More like he is using it as a massive tow vehicle, with an equally massive payload, rather than making it the base of an expedition vehicle with living quarters. Living quarters is the Bushtracker Off Road Caravan
People tow larger Off Road Caravans intially with V8 Diesel Landcruisers, then if Heavier US HD diesel Pickups like the RAM 2500-3500, but if the payload starts really going north, it is Japanese Trucks or European Trucks, can be light( Japanese) or MDT ( Japanese or European) or HDT's in some cases
