Maybe you should seek this person out and find out if he actually got his hands on one of the concept trucks, or they were such fans of it that they badged their F150 as such.
The Atlas was Fords 2013 concept truck revealed at the 2013 NAIAS in Detroit. So probably not as whacky of a situation as you think.

No, it's pretty wacky...and I don't actually care if it is an early release truck (Ford's marketing as a "concept" vehicle was pretty weak. It was merely an early release or preview of the new model. Hardly fits the traditional definition of a concept vehicle).
This post was just a funny jab at the Ford guys here...who call me part of the Ram Mafia or whatever.
