I suspect your new one will have a regular house plug in located somewhere in the vehicle, such as the one in my new Ford. But in the old Chevy, we used adaptors and kids would bring along their X-Box or other games, and never a "Are we there yet" statement was heard.
Oh yeah, that 110V is great, isn't it? We plug in our walkie talkie base in it, then run the cord through the side slot on the center console, then close the lid. The center console is so deep, you can put just about anything in it to recharge while going down the road. By the time we get home, the walkies are charged and ready for use.
