Last year we're tooling down the highway and a car pulls up alongside making all these gestures and I look back and our door is swung open! We were certain we had locked it securely but obviously we messed up. It seems this would act as insurance against the door flying open. We leave in just a few minutes on a 4 week trip and that is going to give me even better peace of mind!
We always turn ours that way, Just in case the door should pop open its got something else to hold it.
