I also had mines done as a preventative measure after tearing the engine apart to address cold start issues, plenty of oil leaks and surging at idle. Ford should have given me stock after all the money I spent. Thus far been running good.

Thanks! They lasted roughly 70k miles. I did the studs and black onyx back BEFORE they became a problem so I wouldn't have any issues traveling... I found out shortly after that they were failing on the Powerstroke forums. After my long trip to Lake Ontario, they had enough and started puking coolant from the bottle. So far, still good on the "new" oem ones after 3600 miles
