Might suggest getting advice and tips from a group dedicated to these engines.
Given their ….track record…. there’s volumes of intel out there. Just not here.

My experience with forums is a lot of people are asking questions, and getting mostly snarky replies and few correct if any answers. Generally a waste of time. There are however many decent video resources on YouTube. When, not if, I get this figured out, there will be another helpful how to video posted on my channel, joining the other nearly 1200 other how to, travel, and other assorted topic videos I have already posted. Getting ready to test fuel pressure now. Bought 3 filters, oil, fuel top of engine, and fuel on frame. Many frame rail fuel filters apparently never get changed due to being in a difficult to reach location next to the transfercase. There is also a water separater to drain and clean. Have a pan under when servicing. If this isn't the problem, then I will have to start pulling valve covers and looking at dummy plugs, injectors and anything else. It's a step by step process, simplest to toughest, it will just take a little more time before we can get back on the road. Remember, I'm an expert at acquiring unreliable F Series trucks.
Enough funning, must get behind in motion, it won't fix itself we all know. Take care...
