you can't declare it for personal use only and put the "not for hire" sign on it, or is that just for class 8 trucks?
You’re confusing with DOT regs which is irrelevant
no I wasn't as the regs that affect stuff like that is our registration. then we have the option of personal insurance, or if you have a company and are using it for the company to make money then you have to get commercial insurance.
