The official miles was always 500. The website was NEVER changed, only your goalpost changed. I assume the 621 was under some unusually favorable conditions.
Would you look at that!!! The goal post is being moved already. The range went from 621 to 500. :h
How did that happen? :h It shrank 121 miles in a matter of a few years? My Levi's did the opposite. :B
The reports from customers will be the real number and is not yet available. But I understand your overzealous excitement.
Sorry Time but the owner and CEO of Tesla said:Elon Tusk wrote:
Elon Musk told the 2020 European Conference on Batteries that Tesla’s new battery technology could deliver a Class 8 truck that can cover 621 miles, per charge.
And that was two years ago. And here is how he said he would do it.This all comes down to Tesla’s new battery technology that was announced at Tesla’s Battery Day event in September as the key to this groundbreaking achievement.
Musk said the next-generation battery technology has a higher energy density and a tab-less design.
So there you have it Time. Directly from the CEO and owner of Tesla. He said it. Not me.
He also said this:The Cybertruck is bulletproof.
Ok, that didn't work out to well for him but I'm sure the 621 mile over the road Tesla Semi will work out just fine! :B
I hope Tusks Semi works out better than Nikola's founder. He's going to big boys time out. :E
BTW, when is the Robotaxies coming out? 2024? 2030? Give me your best shot. :B Turtle n Peeps wrote:

Peeps, are you getting your cookies after posting stuff like that ? :R
Nothing like trying to find fault with someone who understands when 4th grade math disproves a myth or a lie….
Back to your 14mpg 1 ton van…. (PS that was funny too, but believing that helps me understand how or why you believe other incorrect marketing fodder. ).
PT Barnum had a quote for that…. - 8_1_VanExplorerPeeps, are you getting your cookies after posting stuff like that ? :R

Just to remind everybody what Tusk said so nobody will move the goal post on here. Tusk said the Semi will have around a 500 MWH battery.Tusk wrote:
Now in a new interview with Joe Rogan, CEO Elon Musk revealed that the Tesla Semi will have a battery pack around 500 kWh:Bill Gates wrote:
In response to Bill Gates’ comments about battery-electric trucks not being viable, Musk argued that adding the kind of weight that comes with a 500 kWh battery pack is not a problem.
Well that's refreshing. Looks like Bill has done the math.:B
Sooooo with all the above being said, let me ask the fan bois of Tesla this question. If a 131 MWH battery pack in a little tiny F150 towing a 7,000 lb trailer can only go less than 100 miles; how far can a Semi with a 500 MWH (or lets say even a 600 MWH battery) tow a total gross weight of 80,000 to 82,000 lbs go?
Tusk says 500 miles or 621 miles depending on what day the dope smoking billionaire talks. - 8_1_VanExplorer

Grit, the OP has consistently added on topic relevant factual information.
Try it sometime.
Why is an a electric semi relevant to an RV forum? Rivian? Yep. Ford Lightning? Yep. Cyber truck? Mmmmmmm, not really. It's not even made yet...but ok I guess wishing is ok.
I guess we only have 3 more months to wait for the Semi according to you, 8.1 and Tusk. Right on. Can't wait. :B:B:B

I myself is watching a Tesla semi conversion into Type A rv.:p:R
Is it going to be a very forceful, demanding RV that likes to lead and doesn't take no for an answer?
Or did you mean Class A?
I'd think a conversion would be more like a Class C, super C to be specific, but I'm not in the top 2% of intelligence , so what do I know...
I would have to profusely apologize to you about my lack of knowledge of RVs.:o
In fact, the only class or types of RVs I know are trailers (I just started 3 years ago and had 2 where I totaled the 1st one). And now I'm looking at truck campers for either my Cybertruck or F150 Lightning. And maybe I'll look again once there is a company that will convert Tesla semi into RV (I don't know what type or class to call it, sorry).
I hope you are now jumping in joy and celebration after demonstrating your superiority in knowledge in one subject matter that other ordinary people are deficient.:R
Well we are on a rv forum, sorry if I assumed that someone who’s been a member here for 5 years and posts as much as you do, may have actually read, learned and /or somehow absorbed a little basic knowledge….like at least recognizing and knowing something as simple as what the titles of the sub forums represented.
Lol
But seriously now, I’m beginning to feel bad because I’m now realizing that your posts may be largely out of ignorance and not out of spite (trolling) as I’d previously assumed! - free_radicalExplorer
