If you have been following along, I blew my old engine when an exhaust valve broke and destroyed number 5 cylinder, piston, head, rod, cylinder block and all. I wasn't happy with boneyard engines and their high mileages. I found a machine shop in Portland Oregon that would sell me a rebuilt engine for 2080.00 dollars. I requested they do a couple upgrades like a Melling 176HV high volume oil pump and a stage 1 RV grind on the cams to improve torque and power. We will see how that works if it makes a noticeable difference at all. I will be starting the engine tomorrow after the final installation tasks are completed. Stay tuned for that video.
