We did get a used 2003 Outfitter Apex (I think) it was the 9'5" model what ever that is. The camper was ok, but the mfg. is not. Had an issue and they just said too bad, go some where else. If money is an issue you might consider Palomino, probably not as well made, but way less money. A lot more for the dollar.

Very sad to hear this bad thing about Outfitter.
It is not the first time i have read bad things about Outfitter.
Have yet to read any seriously bad things about Hallmark or ATC or FWC..... for what that is worth.
I think you need to take "bad things about Outfitter" with a grain of salt. You can read bad things about every truck camper sold. And you can read good things too. I hope you take into consideration who wrote the bad things about Outfitter and why they wrote them.
My experience with Outfitter has been very good since 2004. That's 14 years. Read that.
