Voltage drop is hard on these 12v pumps. If you are not prepared to make a permanent mount connection I would just make up a custom cable with battery clamps on one side and an Anderson connector on the other. Probably #6 wire.
No need for heavy 6 gauge wire - years ago when I first got my FloJet Waste Macerator I wired up a 12 gauge extension cable long enough to reach from the waste gate area to the front of the trailer where I could plug the trailer's Bargman into the cable and thereby provide power to the macerator. That cable was about 20' long and it's the same cable I now have installed permanently on our current trailer - has worked just fine for all these years. :B
