Can't comment directly, but I have an RDS tank, installed with the RDS gravity flow kit using 3/8 inch line and no solenoid. It takes a long time to transfer 30 gallons of diesel thru that 3/8 inch line.
During those times when I've transferred fuel while driving, it WILL keep up with fuel consumption as I tow, but I generally transfer fuel overnight when I'm finished towing just because it does take so long.
Brewurown - Looks like you used a slightly smaller line. Will it flow enough fuel to keep up with fuel consumption while towing ?
The fuel line that came with my gravity flow kit was 5/16 so I could not use 1/4 nipples and I could not find 5/16 nipples so I went with 3/8. I was concerned about the speed of fuel flow but I made 3 trips to FL and back to NC. Starting with full tanks and the valve energized my fuel gauge never comes off the full mark until the aux tank is empty.
