% discount off MSRP?
We are looking at buying a 2015 Silverado 3500SRW. What kind of discount should we expect or hope for, or will they be marked way up beacuse they are the new kid on the block? Thanks!

Where do people come up with this nonsense? This and the other guy who says his family owns dealerships. The numbers quoted are ludicrous, unsupportable, and just plain not true.
I operated and owned a number of dealerships for several decades. I sold tens of thousands of both cars and trucks in my career. I am now retired and have no dog in this fight.
But,unequivocally, I can tell you there is not a dealership in the US that averages $5,000-$8,000 gross profit per new truck sold and sells more than one a month. Pure rubbish!
