I don't think it will go away, mine started acting up when I got close to a 1/4 tank. I would take it to garage or even a parts store to have the codes read to see what the problem is first, then go from there. You do not need to go to a Ford dealer to get the codes read, most all garages have code readers. As a matter of fact, I took my motorhome to Sam Galloway Ford in Ft. Myers and they keeped my motorhome, while on vacation, for about 6 weeks putting a new head on, under warranty. When I drove away from the dealership, I still had the problem. I then took it to an independent garage and had the codes read. The garage said they could replace the pump, but it would cost over $750.00, and it would be best to have ford fix it. So, I took it to a ford dealer in Arcada,FL. they agreed it was the pump and replaced it under warranty. I have not had a problem since then and it runs like a raped ape. That work was done in 06, the motorhome was 7 months old and had about 1500 mile on it.
