If getting something with a Cummins motor, avoid anything equipped with the CAPS fuel pump (typically found on ISC and ISL motors in the mid 2000's). That's a very expensive unit when it goes. It's not a question of if, but when. Freightliners have been around for some time and have been making MDT's for quite some time. If you're concerned about overall footprint though, maybe consider a flat-nose MDT? Such as a HINO, UD or even Isuzu/Chevy. Also keep in mind you will probably have to do some up-fitting, such as putting a different bed on the vehicle and running a 7 pin wiring harness to the rear.
