1 ton dually or Medium Duty for large 5er?

If I felt uncomfortable with a new 1 ton dually as a tow vehicle I would jump right up to a class 6. However, a new 1 ton dually is ample truck for any fifth wheel I have seen. I have a very attractive class 8 highway tractor and feel it is much too heavy duty for towing an rv. Personally, I wouldn't use a class 8.
