1 ton dually or Medium Duty for large 5er?
We're looking at large 5ers and these things are HEAVY. I know a 1 ton dually diesel will get them moving down the road and that's not what I'm worried about. I'm worried about getting the rig stopp...

20,000 lb trailer... so the truck needs to carry 4000 lbs pin weight, 2000 lbs body upfit weight, 1000 lbs passenger and other cargo weight. The truck needs a 7000 lb payload capacity. That's class 5 at the minimum, better with class 6.

I think it was 2011 when I left the forum. Anyways, I was busy welding the world (or a few buildings in my tiny part of the world at least) and just didn't have time to devote to the forum. Now that life has slowed down again... here I am. :)
