In the lake 70's I drove a day cab Titan 90 Chevy COE! Twin screw, 350 Detroit and 13 speed Roadranger! Had the really cool at the time dash that wrapped around the driver into the center of the cab. Aluminum frame and Cab! Tanker trailer was all aluminum also. 25K tare weight!
It had that first person at the wreck feeling a lot! But with 8500 gals of gasoline behind me I would have not know about the wreck for very long! Other than that it was a little like a front row seat on a Disney Land ride going around Lake Crescent on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington. In the summer I made 3-5 trips a week to Forks and Clallam Bay from Port Angeles.
